U.S. CELLULAR INVESTED MORE THAN $20.6 MILLION IN WASHINGTON IN 2017
Richland, Wash. (Jan. 30, 2018) — U.S. Cellular continued to invest in the wireless experience for its customers throughout 2017 with network upgrades and community donations. Here in Washington, the company invested $20.6 million to enhance its award-winning network.

For the third consecutive year, U.S. Cellular directed its philanthropic efforts to STEM-focused youth education through a $1 million donation to Boys & Girls Clubs of America, with $15,000 going directly to clubs in Washington. In addition, Washington U.S. Cellular associates spent 230 hours volunteering their time with Boys & Girls Clubs and a variety of other non-profits throughout the year.
